Meet Our
Executive Head Chef

From growing up making pizza and cheesesteaks in a family business to cooking for Julia Child and alongside Iron Chef Cat Cora, David has over 30 years of experience in the kitchen. French classically trained and a top graduate of his class from Johnson & Wales University, David has worked for some of the top companies in the food service & hospitality industry.

David’s leadership and passion has helped him achieve his greatest professional accomplishment which above all includes being a culinary arts educator for some of the best culinary schools in the industry, teaching and mentoring many of the great chefs in the area today. Teams that David has been a part of have achieved awards of excellence such as Best of Chester County, Best of the Knot, and Best of the Main Line.

Even more than his love of food, David’s love for family and friends is even stronger. His drive for life and work in and out of the kitchen is driven by his #1 fan, his teen-aged son. To him, he is dad, chef, and baseball coach all rolled into one. All of this is what has made David the chef he is today and a crucial member of the Foster Ave Carvery/Locust Lane team.
